Congratulations to contributor JP Gritton on his debut novel, Wyoming, out today from Tin House! Gritton’s short story, “Last Waltz,” appeared in the GR Issue 100, and we are so pleased to celebrate this latest work. Named one of the best books of 2019, Kirkus calls Wyoming “An affecting, richly drawn, darkly humorous novel” (Starred Review).
Poetry Daily has featured Lena Khalaf Tuffaha’s “Miss Sahar Listens to Fairuz Sing ‘The Bees’ Path,’” winner of the 2018 Robert Watson Literary Prize, as today’s poem. Congratulations to the poet from the whole GR team!

All of us at The Greensboro Review congratulate Anthony Varallo, former GR contributor, on the publication of his novel, The Lines (University of Iowa Press, August 2019). Set in the summer of 1979, when America was running out of gas, The Lines tells the story of a family of four—the mother, the father, the girl, and the boy—in the first months of a marital separation.
